I just request to Mr Narendra Modi if you are planning to kill us all, get it over with. Just announce it we all Kashmiris will travel back to Kashmir and we will die with our people, don’t kill us every day. You can never rule a Kashmiri. All you can do is kill us all, that’s how you get Kashmir.
An FIR (first information report) has been registered against 11 young men most of whom are students for the ‘crime’ of chanting slogans against Pakistani occupation of the large part of the State of Jammu Kashmir including Gilgit Baltistan.
The protests were called against India’s abrogation of Article 370 which gave the Indian part of Kashmir, a special status. They were also demonstrating against India’s communication blackout at the region for the last 35 days.
Out of the 36 persons who received pellet injuries, eight were reported in the first week of the clampdown, the official said. More than 200 incidents of stone-throwing have been reported during this period.

The Kashmiri Pandit community in the US held a rally applauding the Indian government’s decision to revoke Article 370 of the Constitution that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued on Friday, the hardline separatist leader, who advocates Kashmir’s merger with Pakistan, said people should organise peaceful protests and demonstrations in their areas of residence.
