16-point Charter of Democracy from Joint Awami Action Committee
The All Parties Coordination Committee has demanded Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq’s resignation and the dissolution of the assembly. A 16-point Charter of Democracy was issued, setting a deadline of December 9 for implementation. Nationwide protests and demonstrations abroad were announced for December 10, coinciding with International Human Rights Day.
