The state of Jammu Kashmir is a large freshwater resources belt in the Himalayan region, Including Glaciers, lakes, rivers, streams and becks. The state is surrounded by three atomic powers, India, Pakistan and China. Over 1.3 billion population is dependent on these freshwater resources.
A short documentary is produced by Arif Urfi – A journalist of Pakistan Administrated Jammu Kashmir affiliated to Geo News Pakistan giving mitigate facts about the situation of these water resources and some basis of the conflict between India and Pakistan.
The following report was initially shared in 2016 and with lots of developments since then, the report is still valid and raise some serious concerns on the issue.
