India has seen a sharp rise in religious and cultural intolerance since PM Narendra Modi took power last year. Since then, many things have been changed even the shining image to fascist image.
Uttar Pradesh state police spokesman Pravin Kumar said the nine fatalities increased the death toll in the state to 15 in the protests against the new law, which the demonstrators say discriminates against Muslims.
“Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre is responsible for creating an environment which forces the youth of the state to join militancy,” Azad said at an election rally here.
