- HUNZA VALLEY:
This beautiful and mountainous valley is located in Gilgit. The capital and main town of Hunza is Baltit which is most popular for its tourist destination and beauty.
Baltit FORT is located at a height and from the terrace of the BALTIT FORT you also have splendid bird’s eye view on the houses of the village Karimabad.
Hunza is divided into three geographic subdivisions: Upper Hunza, Lower Hunza and Central Hunza. In the Upper Hunza, Borith Lake is located near Gulmit. This lake is very peaceful and natural and it takes an hour to reach from Karimabad. This lake is surrounded by majestic ranges of mountains. This lake is calm and cool and you will love the place when you spend some time over here.
Trekking is also very famous in Hunza valley because the world’s second-highest peak, K2 is located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. There are a lot of trekking tours which tourists can avail and enjoy.
This valley is approximately 160 kilometres long and situated at an approximate distance of 250 kilometres from the Islamabad. Kaghan valley is popular for its natural beauty and delightful gorgeousness and beauty. This valley is a famous tourist destination because of its dramatic mountain scenery. May to September is the best time to visit Kaghan Valley because in winter roads block with the glaciers and these glaciers melt from February to April.
Kawai is the first town that comes after entering into the Kaghan which is situated at a distance of 24 kilometres from the Balakot. After crossing Kawai, tourists find themselves in Shogran. It is a heavenly place with three gorgeous snowcapped peaks:
- Musa ka Musalla
- Malika Parbat

Saidu Sharif is the capital of Swat valley where several schools, colleges and government offices are situated. The total distance is approximately 5 hours from Islamabad to Saidu Sharif with one-stop. Tourist can also use Daewoo buses for travelling.
This valley lies in the region where Central Asia, China and South Asia meet that’s why this valley has great strategic importance and value. The highest peak in Swat Valley is Falak Sher. Furthermore, the major attractions of the Swat Valley for visitors include its archaeology, the history, their art and the lush green sites.
4 : NEELUM VALLEY:
Neelam Valley is a bowl-shaped valley in Azad Kashmir which is situated at the North and North-East of Muzaffarabad. This valley contains a variety of small and large villages, hills and mountains, thick forest, streams and rivers. There is a Sarwali Mountain which is one of the highest mountains in Azad Kashmir. Tourists who come from Pakistan or other foreign countries can easily attract with the amazing beauty of this valley. Neelum Valley is also very famous for owning many beautiful lakes such as worldly famous Ratti Gali Lake, Chita Katha Lake, and others.

Kalash Valley is situated in Chitral District in Northern Pakistan and surrounded by the Hindu Kush mountain range. People of Kalash celebrate 3 main festivals:

Shandur pass is also called “The Roof of the World”. This pas is situated between Chitral District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ghizer District of Gilgit Baltistan. For tourists, there is a big source of entertainment because every year in a summer a huge event Shandur Polo Festival is organized. This match is played between the teams of Chitral District and Ghizer District of Gilgit Baltistan. Many visitors visit here just to enjoy this famous polo tournament, even those who don’t enjoy this game must visit here and start enjoying this game.
Shandur pass is located in the Northern areas of Pakistan and one of the most visited places by tourists and visitors all around the world.
7 . JHELUM VALLEY:
Jhelum Valley is an ideal valley of Azad Kashmir. It is about 50 km long valley which is located on the Jhelum River cover with green mountains, is located in Hattian Bala District of Azad Kashmir, which is 40 km from Muzaffarabad. It has a curling river Jhelum that passes through from East to West between the high and lush green mountains.
This valley also has a “Leepa Valley” which is a very beautiful and fascinating valley. Those tourists who visit this beautiful valley in summer enjoy its lush green rice fields and typical wooden Kashmiri houses. There are also many tourist places like Peerchanasi, Chikar, Chinari, Zilzaal Lake, Chokothi Cham-fall, Gharhi Dopatta, Loon Bagla, Dungian, Danna and so on.
8 . RAWALAKOT:
This is another beautiful town in Azad Kashmir which is surrounded by hills. Rawalakot is located approximately 80 km away from Rawalpindi and Islamabad. It main attractions for tourists are Toli Pir, Banjosoa Lake, Sudhngalli, Tatta Pani, Poonch River and so on.
Another name of Rawalakot is “Pearl Valley” because of a very large amount of almond blossoms in this valley in summer season which gives the feeling of scattered pearls.
The weather of Rawalakot is quite erratic. It has mild to warm temperature during the spring and autumn, humid during summer and cold to snowy during the winter.
Farming for corn, rice and wheat is popular in Rawalakot. Besides these extensive vegetables farming like tomatoes, potatoes and spinach are also conducted here.
9 . ZIARAT:
Ziarat is the capital of Ziarat District, located in the province of Balochistan. All kinds of visitors that come from Pakistan or from foreign countries attract its overall cold weather, lush green forests, mighty mountains and fascinating sceneries. Ziarat is also important because there is the residency of Quaid-e-Azam.
Juniper forest which is also called sanober is situated near Ziarat. Juniper forest is Pakistan’s largest forest, covering about 110,000 hectares. The ecosystem of this forest provides a habitat for endangered wildlife species and support a variety of plant species.
Ziarat and its surrounding valleys also offer great opportunities for hiking and trekking. Ziarat city also becomes very popular for a taste of its snowfall during the winter season.
10. MURREE HILLS:
Murree Hill is situated in Murree and this is a summer hill station. It lies 50 km Northeast of Pakistani capital Islamabad. Tourists came here every year and enjoy the cool summers or the snowy winters. It has scenic beauty, pleasant weather, mesmerizing greenery and amazing wildlife. One of the most popular and famous areas in the hill station is the Mall road. It has two routes. One is the 2 lanes old route Rawalpindi-Srinagar Highway and the other is Islamabad- Muzaffarabad 4 lane Expressway. No doubt it is a more comfortable route compared to the jam-packed and broken old route.
There are also a lot of stalls of shawls, rugs, fruits and umbrellas for visitors. The locally grown fruits of this beautiful city are Cherries, Strawberries, Peaches, Apples, Apricots and Liaquat.
