An airline which was flying to Muscat carrying as many as 150 passengers from Jaipur in India was rescued by an air traffic controller from Pakistan at the right time after it ran through extreme weather conditions as per the media reports.

Muzamil Mattoo, a freelance photographer, said that they reached Khanyar to cover a protest demonstration. We were in between personnel of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) near Khanyar Chowk when a policeman pointed his pellet gun towards us and fired, he said.

The ongoing closure in Kashmir has crippled the valley’s economy as the business community has suffered losses amounting to over Rs 10,000 crore in three months, a trade body said here.
Canadian leader of the New Democratic Party Jagmeet Singh also condemned the same.
“The Indian government shut down telephones, cellphone communication, and blocked media. Anywhere in the world, if the cellphones are being blocked, the telephones are being shut down, and the media is not allowed to go there, I can assure you, there are human rights violations going on,” he said.
