Srinagar: Geelani’s son refutes rumours about father’s death: “He is stable”
Naseem Geelani, the son of Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani on Wednesday refuted the news reports that Syed Ali Geelani passed away this evening.
Geelani’s son Naseem Geelani told that his father was stable. “Geelani sahab is stable,” he said, reported wire-service KNO.
Pertinently there were rumours about Geelani’s death doing rounds on social media.
The ailing leader’s health condition is deteriorated for the past six months and he was admitted in SKIMS hospital recently.
The octogenarian leader is under house arrest for the past ten years. (KNO)
