The Phullawai village is located in Union Council Gurase Tehsil Sharda District Neelum Azad Kashmir. The elevation of this village is about 7,000 to 13,000 feet above sea level. In the north, the big Shisha Mountains (Shisha Kor) are high and low with forested hills and slopes. To the south of the village, the Neelum river flows, along the Neelum Road.
Gagai Valley is the largest pasture in the Grurez Valley, located in the last part of the Neelum Valley, between 6,000 to 13,000 feet above sea level.
Most of the towns near LoC are empty now. “We have found only six houses with families in the Sharda Town,” a social worker told me. Almost, 40 Percent are assumed to have been left the valley. “There is uncertainty, people are leaving daily, the ratio increase in the day after firing.
The geographical features enhance the natural beauty of the Valley. Its elevation, a mere 2,000 feet at the start, gradually rises till it attains a respectable height of 8,000 feet. Ahhh! Outside was cold as I closed the door of the car and came out, cold wind kissed on my cheeks; a cooled ray passes by my nerves and through the backbone. Around us, there were woods, small, young and old trees. There the resort is surrounded by the trees of Himalayan poplar, walnut, Deodar, Pine, fir and other trees of fruit.
Neelum valley is one of the most beautiful valleys of Pakistan Administrated Jammu Kashmir, and it hosts several brooks, freshwater streams, forests, lush green mountains, and a river.
